Nicole Huret is a Senior Research Associate based in Alexandria VA. Her research experience focuses on food and nutrition programs, particularly WIC and SNAP. Her focus and experience are largely based on quantitative analysis and she has vast experience with administrative data. She also has experience with qualitative research and implementing mixed-methods research study designs.
Prior to joining MEF, Nicole worked at Westat Insight (formerly known as Insight Policy Research) where she served in leadership roles and directed many studies, including WIC Participant and Program Characteristics 2018, 2020, and 2022. Nicole earned her first Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and taught high school students for 3 years in Roanoke, Virginia. She earned a second Master’s Degree in Mathematics & Statistics.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys traveling, reading, training her Portuguese Water Dog (Digit), and checking out new restaurants in the DC Metro area.
