Chrissy Steigelman is a Research Associate at MEF Associates’ Alexandria office. Her primary research focus is federal food assistance programs, including the supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP) and the supplemental nutrition program for woman, infants, and children (WIC). Chrissy provides project management and research support for several food assistance projects at MEF.
Prior to joining MEF, Chrissy worked at Westat Insight (formerly known as Insight Policy Research), where she conducted mixed-methods research and provided project management support for the food and nutrition team.
Chrissy holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University and a B.A. in Economics from Michigan State University. In her free time, Chrissy enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with friends, and trying new restaurants around D.C.
