Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative: Evaluability Assessment

The Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative (SYVPI) was a neighborhood based strategy to connect at-risk youth to services and programs with the goals of reducing juvenile court referrals for violence and reducing suspensions and expulsions from middle schools due to violence-related incidents. Funded by the Seattle City Council, the project described the SYVPI theory of change, evaluated the SYVPI program design and alignment with the theory of change, identified central evaluation questions, reviewed implementation, and identified options for a rigorous impact evaluation.
