Evaluation of Feeding America’s Ending Hunger Community of Practice

Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks, launched the Ending Hunger Community of Practice (EHCOP) to promote learning about the impact of successful, cost-effective Food Bank program interventions that aim at helping households manage and increase their resources and to achieve long-term food security. MEF Associates supported Feeding America in this effort by developing a logic model and measurement framework to allow Feeding America to evaluate the variety of interventions that fall under the EHCOP, conducted an assessment of existing interventions being implemented at nine food banks, and providing technical assistance to food banks and Feeding America related to ongoing evaluation of their interventions, including developing a toolkit to help them to analyze intervention costs.
