Sophie Hearn is a Research Analyst in MEF Associates’ Seattle office. She is interested in a range of policies and programs that promote socioeconomic and racial equity, health, and well-being.
At MEF, Sophie is currently working on projects related to employment services, welfare programs, substance use disorder, fatherhood programs, and financial empowerment. Prior to MEF, Sophie worked at The Democracy Collaborative, where she conducted qualitative research on health systems’ community-based initiatives.
Sophie graduated with Distinction from Stanford University with a B.A. in Psychology. In her free time, Sophie enjoys reading, drinking tea, trying out new recipes, and being outdoors with friends and family.
