The San Joaquin County Department of Child Support Services contracted with MEF to provide ongoing technical assistance to help the agency integrate behavioral science principles into agency practices. This builds on a two-day, all-staff workshop led by MEF training and technical assistance staff in May 2019. MEF worked collaboratively with leadership to support the implementation of the behaviorally informed prototypes staff developed at the May workshop. In doing so, MEF worked with with frontline staff to refine their ideas, solicit feedback from participants and other DCSS staff, finalize the materials, and implement the ideas into practice. In addition, MEF supported agency leadership as they developed institutions to infuse behavioral science principles into everyday customer interactions and agency operations.
