Laura R. Peck, Ph.D., is a Nonresident Senior Fellow for MEF Associates. A policy analyst by training, Dr. Peck specializes in innovative ways to estimate program impacts in experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations. Dr. Peck engages in the design and analysis of experiments across an array of subject areas, including housing, education, income security and employment. She is well-known for translating technical material to diverse and broad audiences through clear, plain-language reports and creative dissemination products. Dr. Peck is well-published on program evaluation topics in respected journals along with being the author of Experimental Evaluation Design for Program Improvement (2020; SAGE). She serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Evaluation. Dr. Peck previously served as Director of MEF’s Income Security and Economic Mobility Domain.
