NASWA Hawaii Communications Revision

This project will understand and address barriers to Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits using Behavioral Science and Human-centered Design (HCD). Working with the National Association of State Workforce Agencies, MEF Associates and its subcontractor Anthro-Tech will improve the readability and usability of Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations’ claimant-facing communications by examining the content of Hawaii’s communications related to the UI claims application, certification, adjudication, and benefits payment process.
