Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks, launched the Ending Hunger Community of Practice (EHCOP) to promote learning about the impact of successful, cost-effective Food Bank program interventions aimed at helping households manage and increase their resources and to achieve long-term food security. MEF Associates supported Feeding America in this effort by developing a logic model and measurement framework that allowed Feeding America to evaluate the variety of interventions that fall under the EHCOP, conducting an assessment of existing interventions being implemented at nine food banks, and providing technical assistance to food banks and Feeding America related to ongoing evaluation of their interventions, including a developed toolkit to help them to analyze intervention costs.
