Enhanced Transitional Jobs Demonstration

The Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration provided about $40 million in operational funding to seven programs targeting disadvantaged noncustodial parents and/or formerly incarcerated individuals. All of the grantees participated in a random assignment evaluation. MDRC led the evaluation, with MEF Associates and Abt Associates as subcontractors. MEF Associates assisted with the random assignment process and the implementation study. MEF led the cost effectiveness study.
