MEF Associates led this project that explored key policy questions in the child support field and developed a long-term child support research agenda. Project activities included planning and convening a Roundtable consisting of researchers, policy experts, practitioners, and federal staff to develop and disseminate a child support research agenda; research to better understand child support distribution policy at the state level; analyzing state-level data on the performance-based incentive system; and authoring a brief discussing the implications of the gig economy for the child support program. The study was funded by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
