Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative: Evaluability Assessment

The Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative (SYVPI) is a neighborhood based strategy to connect at-risk youth to services and programs with the goals of reducing juvenile court referrals for violence and reducing suspensions and expulsions from middle schools due to violence-related incidents. Funded by the Seattle City Council, the project will involve describing the SYVPI theory of change, evaluating the SYVPI program design and alignment with the theory of change, identifying central evaluation questions, reviewing current implementation, and identifying options for a rigorous impact evaluation.
