Building the Next Generation of Child Support Policy Research and the Benefits and Costs of Child Support Distribution Reform

MEF Associates is leading this project that will explore key policy questions in the child support field and develop a long-term child support research agenda. Project activities include planning and convening a Roundtable consisting of researchers, policy experts, practitioners, and federal staff to develop and disseminate a child support research agenda, as well as collecting qualitative and quantitative data to better understand the facilitators of child support distribution at the state level. The study is funded by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
