Breaking Barriers in San Diego

The San Diego Workforce Partnership (SDWP) was awarded a Workforce Innovation Fund grant to implement an Individual Placement and Support model of supported employment services for TANF participants and other individuals impacted by disabilities. It will replicate and extend the model of the Families Achieving Success Today pilot in Ramsey County, Minnesota. SDWP has funded MDRC, with MEF Associates as a subcontractor, to conduct a random assignment study to evaluate this program. The evaluation will include an impact study, an implementation study, and a cost effectiveness analysis. MEF Associates is leading the implementation and cost effectiveness studies.
