A Scan of the Status of States’ Integration of Human Services and Health Insurance

This project examined the status of state efforts to integrate enrollment processes, data systems, and service delivery among health and human services programs. Research for this project identified technical assistance needs related to these integration efforts. Project activities included conducting a web-based survey of states; presenting findings to state staff; and authoring a research brief. The study was co-funded by the Office of Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation and the Administration for Children and Families, within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. MEF Associates conducted this project, with the American Public Human Services Association and the Rockefeller Institute of Government as subcontractors.
